Wilmadilis Blasini Pérez (Uma Blasini) was born March 4, 1982 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Raised in Guayanilla, Uma is a model, professional volleyball player, and MBA graduate. She represented Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe pageant 2007 in Mexico. A thyroid cancer survivor, Blasini competed as Miss San Juan in the Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant in 2005, reaching a Finalist position. She then went on to win the Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant in 2007, competing as Miss Guayanilla. She was crowned by Zuleyka Rivera, who held the Miss Puerto Rico Universe title in 2006 before she was crowned Miss Universe. Blasini represented Puerto Rico at Miss Tourism Queen International 2007 in China, where she won the Best Evening Gown Award. She also traveled to Ecuador to represent PR at the Miss Continente Americabo 2007, where she was a Finalist. After crowning her successor Ingrid Rivera in late 2007, Uma moved to Mexico on an acting scholarship, where she currently remains. Source: Wikipedia
