[MPRUW] What memory do you treasure the most from your years as a beauty queen? [JOYCELINE] The memories that I treasure most from my years as a beauty queen is the love and the admiration of the people around you. The power that been a beauty queen gives you to make a difference. And why not the free traveling too!!! [MPRUW] Great pressure comes with representing Puerto Rico in an international beauty pageant. Did you feel that pressure? How did it feel to be called among the semifinalists in Miss World 2003? [JOYCELINE] Of course I felt the pressure and all the time, that is something you just can’t avoid. I felt proud and anxious because Miss World International is a very big event with a lot of great girls and being chosen as a semi finalist among 108 girls is a big deal. [MPRUW] During pageants, usually the delegates say "they have built friendships that will last a lifetime". Reflect on this. Has it been true in your case? [JOYCELINE] Yes with no doubt. It has been 4 years since I went to Miss World and I still keep in touch with Lebanon, India, Venezuela, Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Belize, to name a few.

[MPRUW] Highlight for our readers, three important moments in your life after pageants. [JOYCELINE] 1. Getting married with my forever crush. 2. Having my daughter. 3. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Public Relations and Publicity after all the crazy life I lived. [MPRUW] How has becoming a mother changed your view of life? [JOYCELINE] WOW. Becoming a mother changed my priorities in life by far. Now, is absolutely not about me, I live for my daughter, taking care of her all the time and just seeing her growing and becoming and independent person. [MPRUW] Since your early pageant years you have always stood out for your communication skills. You have recently appeared on local talk shows, where your potential for that arena has been more than evident. Is tv the next step for Joyceline? What are you plans for the future? [JOYCELINE] TV is absolutely the next step for Joyceline. But not all the things are in ones hands. You may have the talent, determination and desire to do things but someone has to give you the BIG CHANCE. And I'm looking and working hard for that one.
